About Us

A holistic education, rooted in Christian principles.

Proverbs Prep Academy exists to empower students with the skills, character, and values necessary to thrive in their careers and communities.

A Proverbs Prep mentor and student together
Mentorship is at the center of the Proverbs Prep experience.

We provide a rigorous educational experience centered on hands-on trades training, character development, leadership, and a commitment to serving others. Through a holistic approach rooted in Christian principles, we prepare students to become skilled professionals, responsible citizens, compassionate leaders, and people of strong character who positively impact the world around them.

Our learning environment is built on integrity, hard work, respect, accountability, faith, and lifelong learning, ensuring every student graduates equipped to succeed both professionally and personally. We call our four pillars Faith, Character, Craft, and Service, the same foundation Solomon points to in the Proverbs: wisdom applied to a working life.

See How Character Is Built In
Faith & Character Development

Wisdom applied to a working life.

Scripture calls character the foundation of a well-lived life, and we build our student-development program directly on that foundation. Biblical principles are not a separate subject at Proverbs Prep. They're woven into every trade lesson, every mentorship conversation, and every expectation we hold students to.

  • IntegrityDoing what's right, especially when no one is watching.
  • DisciplineShowing up, following through, and finishing well.
  • RespectHonoring others: teachers, peers, and community.
  • AccountabilityOwning mistakes and growing from correction.
  • LeadershipServing others well enough that they choose to follow.
  • CompassionNoticing needs around you, and acting on them.

Community & Service

Giving back is part of the curriculum, not an elective.

Every student at Proverbs Prep takes part in service projects throughout the year, from neighborhood repair days led by our Construction students, to meal-service events run by Culinary Arts, to small-business mentoring for local entrepreneurs. Service is where craft and character meet the real world.

We partner closely with area businesses, churches, and civic organizations who share our commitment to raising up young people of skill and integrity. If your organization would like to mentor, hire, or sponsor a student, we'd love to talk.
